Privacy Policy

Speech recognition runs entirely on your computer. Audio from your microphone is processed in memory, is never saved to disk and is never sent to us or anyone else. The text you dictate is typed into the app you are using and is not stored or sent by Runora. Simple voice commands (such as opening an app) are also handled on your computer.

When you use Agent Mode, to plan each step of a task we process:

• the task you asked for (your spoken request as text);
• the text of web pages Agent Mode opens in its own separate browser profile (it does not read your everyday browser and does not take screenshots);
• a short history of the steps already taken in that task.

This is sent through our servers to Anthropic, which provides the Claude AI models, and is used only to answer that request. We do not store your task text or page content on our servers. If you turn on local AI (Ollama) in the Microsoft Store version, some steps are processed entirely on your computer instead.

For each task we keep a minimal record (an ID, its status and how many steps it took) and count it against your monthly allowance.

When you create an account we store your name, email address and a securely hashed password, and we set a cookie that keeps you signed in. We use this to sign you in, run your subscription and contact you about your account.

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy notice; we never see your full card details. We receive your subscription status, Paddle customer and subscription IDs, and what you purchased, so we can give you access.

If you use the report form, we store what you write, the category you choose and, if you give one, your email address so we can reply. If you are signed in, the report is linked to your account.

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Optional components are downloaded directly from their publishers: speech-recognition files from GitHub and Hugging Face, and, if you choose local AI, Ollama from ollama.com. Those services see your IP address when you download from them.

We share data only with providers that help us run Runora:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Neon (database and sign-in)
• Anthropic (AI models for Agent Mode)
• Paddle (payments, as Merchant of Record)
• Microsoft (app distribution through the Microsoft Store)

Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We do not sell your personal data.

We keep account, subscription and task records while your account is active, and payment records as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account at any time and we will delete your personal data, except what we must keep by law.

Depending on where you live (for example under Türkiye's KVKK or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise these rights, email volkanvural01@gmail.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Runora is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, let you know in advance.
